DAB Canton branch |
 |
In 1910, the last foreign representative offices of DAB before the First World War were opened with the agency in Canton. The agency was converted into a branch in 1911, and DAB moved into this grand, four-storey building. After first closing in 1917, the branch was re-opened in 1925 and existed until November 1945. In 1994 Deutsche Bank opened representative offices in Canton - today usually written as Guangzhou.
